1998
  • Son Ha was established in 1998 with the name as Son Ha Mechanical Metal Co., Ltd
2007
  • Converted to the form of Son Ha International Joint Stock Company
  • Son Ha stainless steel factory with an area of 45,000m² officially went into operation
2008
  • Son Ha stainless steel pipes was exported to the US market. This was an important milestone marking the Group’s development in industrial production
  • Son Ha stainless steel pipe is the only brand in Vietnam that has achieved PED certificate, meeting the standards to enter difficult markets such as the EU and the US
2009
  • Son Ha became a public company, officially listed 15 million shares on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange with stock symbol SHI; registered charter capital of 150 billion dong
2012
  • Export was expanded to 20 countries around the world such as the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Sing
2015
  • Officially entered the Indian market, becoming the number 1 industrial steel pipe brand in India
  • Expanded the network to more than 40 branches, increasing charter capital up to 547 billion VND
2016
  • Son Ha factory was opened in Nghe An
  • Commencement of construction of Son Ha factory in Bac Ninh
2017
  • Successfully restructured with the scale of the parent company and 13 member companies
  • Successfully implemented the M&A of Truong Tuyen, a reputable big brand in the stainless steel water tank manufacturing industry.
  • Construction of Son Ha factory in Myanmar
  • Exported to 35 countries and regions
2018
  • Successfully implemented M&A of Toan My Corporation – Vietnam’s oldest and high-end water tank brand, expanding the market in the South
  • Launched new turning-point production and business industries such as wastewater treatment technology, solar power, investment in transportation & logistics, etc
2019
  • Cooperated in solar energy development joint venture with Germany’s WeGen Group, established Son Ha WeGen joint venture company to research and transfer renewable energy system technology and develop Solar Rooftop business
  • Cooperated with Japanese and Korean partners (Gyeongju city), receiving advanced clean water and wastewater treatment technology
  • Signed contract with EVN Hanoi, successfully developed and installed rooftop solar power product system (FreeSolar) in many civil and industrial projects with a capacity of nearly 30kw/work
  • Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Watrec Group – Switzerland on the development of Biogas – a product that helps turn waste into energy
2020
  • Established Son Ha FreeSolar Company – Successfully launched Freesolar rooftop solar power products to the market. With the principle of applying solar technology from Germany to bring clean, saving-cost electricity to households and businesses, FreeSolar has provided solutions and completed system and grid connection for hundreds of customers in 2020 with a total capacity of over 20MWp
  • Launched the Freesolar rooftop solar power product to the market
  • Inaugurated the EVGO electric vehicle assembly factory and launched EVGO’s two-wheel electric vehicles to the market
  • Launched new product lines to the market in the field of appliances such as eCool air conditioners, direct-fired water heaters
  • Invested in developing wastewater treatment technology and clean water supply
  • Invested in rooftop solar projects and selling electricity to EVN
2021
  • Owned 22 member companies (including direct subsidiaries, indirect subsidiaries and affiliates), 11 domestic and oversea production factories with nearly 3,000 employees
  • Continued to research and develop new products, serving for Vietnamese people such as: high-class handmade pots, EVGO electric motorbikes, eCool air purifiers, Alkawa alkaline water ionizer, Smart wifi hot water heater, Korecook rice cooker
  • Opened the EVGO Center system – EVGO electric motorbike showroom – in key cities and provinces
  • Honoredly won the Top 10 Hanoi’s key industrial products in 2021
2022
  • Owns 22 member companies (including direct subsidiaries, indirect subsidiaries, and affiliated companies); operates 11 manufacturing plants both domestically and internationally with nearly 3,000 employees; maintains over 30,000 retail outlets and distributors across provinces and cities nationwide; and exports to 45 countries and territories worldwide.
  • Continues to research and develop high-tech household products to serve Vietnamese customers, while expanding its market presence in the Central and Southern regions.
  • Officially launched and put into operation the ERP SAP S/4HANA Cloud system — a large-scale digital transformation project, marking a strong step forward in the Industry 4.0 era.
  • Honored to be ranked among the Top 10 Outstanding Brands in Asia 2022.
2023
  • Launched four two-wheeled EVGO electric motorbike models — “The Quartet Replacing Gasoline Motorbikes.”
  • Broke ground on the SHI IP Tam Dương Industrial Park in Phú Thọ, covering an area of over 162.33 hectares.
  • Honored to receive the “Vietnamese Goods Loved by Consumers” award and be ranked among the Top 50 Trusted Products and Services in Vietnam.
2024
  • Participated in five large-scale international exhibitions both domestically and overseas in the stainless steel pipe sector, showcasing the brand’s signature orange identity to global partners and standing alongside leading names in the stainless steel pipe industry.
  • Accelerated online business activities across stainless steel pipes, household products, water solutions, and environmental sectors.
  • Received prestigious awards, including: High-Quality Vietnamese Goods; Vietnamese Goods Loved by Consumers; Top 10 Key Industrial Products of Hanoi; Top 100 Vietnam Golden Star Award; Top 5 Most Preferred Employers in the Manufacturing Industry; Certificate of Merit from the Hanoi People’s Committee for implementing the Capital’s Key Industrial Product Development Program.
2025

The Bau Bang Factory (Ho Chi Minh City), covering nearly 42,000 m², officially commenced operations with eight modern workshops, expanding the development capacity of Son Ha’s industrial sector.
